Letter from Dr. Trimm

I have had a vision for healing the world ever since I was a girl. Growing up, I was the peacemaker among my six siblings. Even while my mother struggled to support us on her own—and there were days we didn’t have food or even water—I remember her saying that nothing is impossible for those who believe . . . and so I always believed.

Yes, I grew up in poverty, but I never knew I was poor! My mother never said we didn’t have enough. When she couldn’t provide certain things for us physically, she always provided more than enough to nourish our souls. My siblings and I grew up full of hope and expectation, and we have all achieved something wonderful as a result.

My mother was an empowerment specialist in her own way. I learned first hand the value of believing and trusting in God. I learned how to maximize what little I had, save, give, show respect, and lead with humility. I would not trade all of the gold in the world for the wealth of wisdom my mother invested in me.

Today, it is my life’s mission to reach others with the same life-transforming, destiny-altering empowerment. There is no worse poverty than an impoverished soul, and no greater wealth than a prosperous soul. When your soul is whole, you are empowered to change the world around you.
